We are proud to be working with our client, a leading provider of specialist mental health services, in the recruitment of a

Consultant Psychiatrist

for a brand-new

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

unit based in

Chelmsford .

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality psychiatric care in a modern, purpose-built setting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team

Deliver psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for young people with complex mental health needs

Work closely with families, external agencies, and the wider care team to ensure holistic and collaborative care

Contribute to service development and clinical governance initiatives

Participate in relevant clinical meetings, audits, and training

Requirements

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise

Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or eligibility)

CCT or equivalent in CAMHS Psychiatry

Strong clinical and leadership skills

Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
