Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS Emotional Disorders Team Location: Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL)Contract Type: Full-Time Maternity Leave CoverRate: £100-£125 per hourStart Date: As soon as possible About the Role We are recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the CAMHS Emotional Disorders Team (EDT) within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) on a maternity leave cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly specialist and well-established multidisciplinary CAMHS service alongside a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist, supporting children and young people presenting with a range of emotional disorders including: Depression Anxiety disorders OCD PTSD Related emotional and mental health presentations The Emotional Disorders Team provides specialist assessment and treatment planning for children and young people following CAMHS triage, working within evidence-based pathways and a collaborative MDT structure. Key Responsibilities Provide senior psychiatric leadership within the Emotional Disorders Team alongside the substantive Consultant Psychiatrist Conduct: Initial psychiatric assessments Risk assessments Diagnostic assessments Treatment planning and reviews Initiate and monitor pharmacological treatments where appropriate Support and contribute to weekly MDT and post-assessment meetings Provide clinical leadership and support to the wider MDT Contribute to ..... full job details .....
