Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS Crisis Services Location: Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL)Contract Type: Full-TimeRate: £100-£125 per hourStart Date: As soon as possible About the Role We are recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS Crisis Services to join the Acute Crisis and Treatment Service (ACTS) within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, well-established multidisciplinary team delivering intensive crisis interventions for high-risk children and young people across the five boroughs served by CNWL. The successful consultant will work alongside another experienced Consultant Psychiatrist, supporting urgent assessments, crisis management, and short-term intensive interventions aimed at preventing hospital admission where appropriate. Key Responsibilities Provide senior clinical leadership within the CAMHS Crisis service Assess and manage children and young people presenting with acute mental health crises and high-risk presentations Deliver intensive interventions and crisis management support within community settings Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, inpatient units, schools, social care, and external agencies Support risk assessment, care planning, safeguarding, and Mental Health Act processes where required Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives Provide supervision and support to ..... full job details .....
