We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our team in Bradford. This is a locum role contracted for 3 months. The Consultant will provide expert psychiatric care to older adults, enhancing mental health services in Bradford and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of older adult patients.Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.Provide psychiatric care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and cognitive assessments.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.Lead and participate in team meetings, case conferences, and supervision sessions.Contribute to service improvements and innovations to enhance psychiatric care for older adults.Qualifications:Medical degree from a recognized institution.Section 12, Approved clinician.Completion of specialist training in Psychiatry and GMC Specialist Register eligibility.Experience in providing psychiatric care to older adults.Strong skills in assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to professional development.Additional Benefits:Support from experienced consultants.£300 bonus scheme for referrals.Access to electronic timesheet app.Variety of work opportunities in NHS and private sectors.Access to CPD training events.Flexible payment options: PAYE, Umbrella, PSC, LTD.How to Apply:
