Consultant in Interventional CardiologyApplications are invited for a Consultant in Interventional Cardiology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing department within Northwick Park Hospital, Central Middlesex and Ealing Hospitals. Consultants are expected to work at all sites of the Trust delivering acute and elective care and to liaise with colleagues and GPs.London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest integrated care Trusts in the country bringing together hospital and community services across the boroughs of Brent, Harrow and Ealing. The job plan incorporates 10 programmed activities, with dedicated 2 weekly sessions in Cath Lab in Northwick Park Hospital, Outpatient Clinics, dedicated time for Continuous Professional Development, as well as 1 in 10 Consultant of the week rota. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate flexibility within their job plan which will be agreed upon appointment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Clinical, Nursing, Admin, Operational and Cardiac Physiologists teams to provide emergency care and deliver elective activity against operational NHS England plan.Working for our organisation

Essential criteriaOn GMC registered Medical Practitioner GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of CCTEntry on Specialist Register in CardiologyKnowledge and Expertise
Essential criteriaClinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in cardiology with evidence of achieving sub-speciality training.Experience of working in a multi-cultural environmentBroad based general professional training in general medicineIT Skills and computer literacyDesirable criteriaNHS experience within the last 3 yearsTeaching
