What you''ll be doing: You will provide metallurgical support across Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain, resolving emergent issues during submarine build and commissioning. You will advise design teams on material selection and corrosion management , support knowledge transfer within Materials Technology, and lead research activities, including authoring technical reports. The role includes offering specialist metallurgical guidance to ensure consistent, timely investigations, maintaining relevant process instructions and standards, and communicating solutions effectively across teams.
