Are you an experienced Ecologist looking for an exciting opportunity with a well-established and growing ecological consultancy? Our client is an award-winning, independent consultancy delivering high-quality ecological advice across a wide range of development and infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, teamwork and professional development, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team in Oxford.

The Ecologist role will involve delivering a variety of ecological surveys and assessments, supporting protected species work, producing technical reports and contributing to Biodiversity Net Gain projects. You will also have the opportunity to develop your technical specialisms and progress your career within a collaborative consultancy.

To be considered for the Ecologist position, you will need:

• A degree in ecology or a closely related subject
  * Relevant ecological consultancy experience
  * Good knowledge of environmental legislation and policy
  * Strong report writing and IT skills
  * Full, clean UK driving licence
  * Full right to work in the UK
  * Living in or within a commutable distance of the Oxford office
  * CIEEM membership or willingness to work towards membership
