Job Description: Cardiology Consultant Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Consultant to join our dynamic team at Northampton General Hospital. Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert cardiology consultations and treatments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives within the department. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees. Conduct and participate in research activities to advance cardiology practice. Required Qualifications and Experience: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice. Completion of higher specialist training in Cardiology. CCST or CESR in Cardiology. Experience in managing a wide range of cardiology conditions. Desirable Skills: Expertise in interventional cardiology procedures.
