Core Clinical Responsibilities: Deliver expert interpretation of screening and symptomatic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI scans. Perform interventional diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound-guided core biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, and wire localisations. Play a pivotal role in weekly breast cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings alongside oncologists and breast surgeons. Contribute to clinical governance, departmental audits, and the training of Specialist Registrars (SpR) and junior medical staff. Essential Candidate Requirements: Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a valid licence to practise. Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology, or within 6 months of obtaining a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or CESR.
