Job Title: Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified) SEE CONSTRUCTION AREAS BELOW Location: Centre based Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 - Depending on skills and experience Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more Type: Full Time, Permanent We have a selection of Construction Tutor roles available, all are open to trainee or qualified Tutors; the successful candidate will be supported to achieve the relevant teaching and/or assessing qualifications if required. Carpentry Tutor Wall and Floor Tiling Tutor Multi Skilled Construction Tutor; Carpentry, Plumbing, Wall and Floor Tiling, Painting and Decorating, Dry Lining, ICT and Food Safety (Cover at least 2 or 3 of these skills) Essential Criteria: Candidates must hold a minimum of a level 2 NVQ in their chosen field, for example; a Level 2 in Carpentry or a Level 2 Wall and Floor Tiling etc. Must be an expert in your field with substantial hands-on competency - minimum of 5 years hands on experience. Hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents. Comfortable to deliver classroom / workshop-based training to small groups. Happy to undertake the relevant teaching and/or assessing qualifications.
