Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Job Title: Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified) Location: Centre based Salary: up to £35,000 (Depending on skills and experience + inclusive of location uplift) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more Type: Full Time, Permanent Duties: Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Multi Skilled Construction (e.g. Painting and Decorating / Dry Lining / Plumbing / Carpentry etc.), within a classroom-based environment. Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner s needs. Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners'' skills knowledge and behaviours Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression. Criteria: Must hold a recognised Level 2 qualification within a Construction trade. Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction. Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents. Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. Driver and use of a vehicle.
