Job Title:Construction Group TutorLocation:Alternative provision setting (Mansfield area)Contract Type:Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only - 37.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year)Salary:£15.37 per hour / £27,066 per annumRole OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and creative Construction Group Tutor to join a vocational education team supporting young people, many with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners re-engage with education through a hands-on, practical construction curriculum. You will deliver engaging sessions in areas such as bricklaying, joinery, painting, and general construction skills, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs and promote inclusion.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, flexible and creative construction-based learning sessionsSupport learners in developing practical skills, confidence and independenceTeach across a variety of settings, including one-to-one, small group and larger vocational environmentsPlan, prepare and review schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments and progress reportsAdapt delivery to meet diverse learning needs, ensuring lessons are inclusive and innovativeWork collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support learners'' developmentAct as a mentor and positive role model, promoting engagement, resilience and achievementInvolve learners in shaping their own learning programmesMaintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and risk managementContribute to ..... full job details .....
