Construction Tutor Location: Gloucestershire Salary: 31,000 - 35,000 depending on experience Contract: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week The Role The successful candidate will deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions across a variety of construction trades, supporting learners of different abilities and backgrounds.Key responsibilities include:Delivering practical and classroom-based sessions in areas such as bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, groundworks, and general construction skillsPreparing lesson plans, schemes of work, and training materialsDemonstrating safe and correct use of tools, equipment, and materialsAssessing learner progress through practical observations and courseworkSupporting learners with additional learning or behavioural needsPromoting high standards of health and safety within workshop environmentsSupporting employability skills, portfolios, and progression opportunitiesMaintaining learner records, reports, and compliance documentationSupporting curriculum development and continuous improvement activities RequirementsExperience working within the construction industryLevel 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant construction tradeStrong practical construction knowledge across one or more disciplinesTeaching qualification or willingness to work towards oneStrong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsPassion for supporting and developing learnersBenefitsPermanent full-time positionMonday to Friday working ..... full job details .....
