Construction Tutor

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Construction Tutor to deliver a fully funded Construction Skills Bootcamp in Warrington. All lesson plans, slides, and resources are provided so no lesson planning required.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering both practical and classroom-based training to adult learners preparing to enter the construction industry.
This is a rewarding role for individuals with industry experience who are passionate about supporting others into sustainable employment.
Delivery includes a combination of classroom instruction and practical activities aligned to CSCS card certification and skilled worker pathways.
What You’ll Be Delivering
You will deliver the following nationally recognised qualifications:

Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment

Level 2 Award in Retrofit and Construction

Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based training to adult learners

Teach core construction skills including site safety, groundworks, and manual handling

Support learners working toward roles such as Labourer, Groundworker, or Site Operative

Monitor attendance, track progress, and assist learners with workbook completion

Collaborate with the wider support team to connect learners with job opportunities

Promote professional behaviours, punctuality, and teamwork

Maintain accurate records, learner portfolios, and compliance documentation
What We’re Looking For

Experience in groundworks, construction, or civil engineering

Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one

A teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, or similar) is desirable but not essential
-
Good knowledge of CSCS card requirements and site safety protocols

Experience with adult learners is an advantage

Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

A supportive and proactive approach to learner development
