We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Construction Tutor to deliver a fully funded Construction Skills Bootcamp in Warrington. All lesson plans, slides, and resources are provided so no lesson planning required.

This is a hands-on role focused on delivering both practical and classroom-based training to adult learners preparing to enter the construction industry.

This is a rewarding role for individuals with industry experience who are passionate about supporting others into sustainable employment.

Delivery includes a combination of classroom instruction and practical activities aligned to CSCS card certification and skilled worker pathways.

What You’ll Be Delivering

You will deliver the following nationally recognised qualifications:

  • Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment 

  • Level 2 Award in Retrofit and Construction

  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based training to adult learners

  • Teach core construction skills including site safety, groundworks, and manual handling

  • Support learners working toward roles such as Labourer, Groundworker, or Site Operative

  • Monitor attendance, track progress, and assist learners with workbook completion

  • Collaborate with the wider support team to connect learners with job opportunities

  • Promote professional behaviours, punctuality, and teamwork

  • Maintain accurate records, learner portfolios, and compliance documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in groundworks, construction, or civil engineering

  • Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one

  • A teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, or similar) is desirable but not essential

  • Good knowledge of CSCS card requirements and site safety protocols

  • Experience with adult learners is an advantage

  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • A supportive and proactive approach to learner development
