This Construction Solicitor role in London offers a full-time, hybrid position with a salary of £80,000 to £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience. THE ROLE:
Working within a highly regarded specialist construction practice, you will advise an impressive and diverse client base, including developers, property owners and investors, funders, contractors, public institutions, and leading construction consultants. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of major projects, taking on a varied and stimulating caseload from inception through to completion.
You will be involved in drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction, development, and project documentation, advising on procurement, contracting strategies, and providing commercially focused advice throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will span standard form contracts including JCT, NEC and EPC/EPCM, as well as bespoke agreements, development arrangements, due diligence, and joint ventures.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors at NQ–2 PQE with experience in a construction or housing practice, ideally with a strong background in non-contentious construction law. You will have experience with standard form construction contracts and exposure to commercial and/or housing development work.
Knowledge of JCT, NEC and EPC contracts, appointments, standard amendments, and market norms would be highly advantageous, alongside an interest in developing your experience of bespoke and complex agreements. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills are essential in this role, together with commercial awareness, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
A genuine passion for construction law and a proactive approach to business development will be highly valued.
