Construction Project Manager

Haynes Development is seeking an experienced construction project manager who orchestrates construction projects, responsible for ensuring their successful completion from start to finish. The role requires a blend of leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Planning and Scope Definition:

Defining project objectives, scope, and deliverablesDeveloping detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocationConducting feasibility studies and risk assessments

Budget Management:

Creating and managing project budgetsMonitoring expenses and controlling costsForecasting potential cost overruns and implementing corrective measures

Schedule Management:

Developing and maintaining project schedulesMonitoring progress and ensuring adherence to timelinesIdentifying and mitigating potential delays

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Leading and motivating project teamsCoordinating the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholdersFacilitating communication and resolving conflicts

Quality Control:

Ensuring work meets quality standards and specificationsConducting inspections and addressing deficienciesImplementing quality control procedures

Safety Management:

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocolsPromoting a safe working environmentAddressing safety hazards and incidents

Contract Management:

Reviewing and managing contractsNegotiating with subcontractors and suppliersEnsuring compliance with contract terms

Client Communications:

Maintaining regular communication with clientsProviding project updates and addressing concernsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships

Risk Management:

Identifying and assessing potential risksDeveloping and implementing risk mitigation strategiesResponding to unexpected events

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining accurate project documentationPreparing and submitting reports to stakeholdersEnsuring proper record-keeping

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 5 years experience as a construction project manager for multiple projects, with experience in both commercial and residential buildsPROCORE experience a plusProven ability to maintain accurate documentationStrong communication skillsHaynes offers excellent medical, dental, and vision plans; a 401K with match; and generous PTO.
