Location: Yeovil, BA21 4PGStart Date: October 2025Contract Duration: Until April 2026 possible to extensionDay Rate: -£400/day CISRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £12m school project at School, Yeovil. This is a key role managing a live education site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in school construction projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders including local authorities, school representatives, and the client team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of a £12m school construction project.Oversee the programme, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners, driving performance and accountability.Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication at all stages.Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly in a live school environment.Manage risk, resolve construction challenges, and support effective decision-making.Provide progress reports and updates to senior management and the client team.Candidate ProfileDemonstrable experience as a Project Manager on education/school construction projects (essential).Strong background managing projects in the £5m–£20m value range.Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience delivering in sensitive environments such as schools.Proven ability to manage subcontractors, budgets, and project programmes.Good knowledge of MandE coordination, RC Frame/Steel structures, and traditional builds.Qualifications and RequirementsSMSTS (essential).IOSH (essential).CSCSFirst Aid at Work (desirable).Strong IT skills (Power project, MS ..... full job details .....
