Construction Procurement Manager
Role: Construction Procurement ManagerLocation: Barrow In Furness - 2 days per week on-siteSalary: 50,000 - 55,000 + benefits Construction Procurement Manager needed to join our client, an established defence engineering firm based in Barrow in Furness. You will play a key role in leading procurement and contracting activities across construction and infrastructure projects forming part of a long-term, 10-year investment programme. Please note we can only consider UK nationals for this position based on UK Security Clearance requirements. What the role of the Construction Procurement Manager entails:Some of the main duties of the Construction Procurement Manager will include:Develop and deliver procurement strategies for construction and infrastructure works, including civils, building and associated packagesLead end-to-end procurement of construction packages, including market engagement, tendering, bid evaluation, commercial negotiation and contract awardWork alongside project and engineering teams to align procurement activities with programme milestones, cost plans and delivery prioritiesLead supplier and contractor negotiations to achieve best value and robust commercial outcomesSupport the selection of appropriate contract forms and commercial arrangements (e.g. NEC or similar)Ensure cost, risk and programme considerations are fully integrated into procurement decisionsIdentify and manage supply chain risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in ..... full job details .....
