Construction Manager

Role: Construction ManagerLocation: HMP The mount and HMP HighpointDay Rate: 277 - 350Duration: 12-month temporary role, with the opportunity to extendWe are currently recruiting for a Construction Site Manager to be based across HMP The mount and HMP Highpoint. This role will involve the daily management of multiple construction projects across the estate, with individual project values up to approximately 500k.This is a site-based role working closely with the Project Manager and contractors'' site teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of works across the establishments.Duties of a Construction Manager include (but not limited to):Pre-construction liaison with project managers, clients, designers, consultants, and prison departmentsAssisting with the scoping and tendering of new projectsDaily management of contractors on-siteOverseeing and ensuring compliance with RAMS, CPP, and site inductionsManaging health and safety and ensuring quality assurance standards are metLiaising with the lead escort regarding access permissions for operatives, tools, and vehiclesTracking and reporting progress back to the PMSupporting project handovers and ensuring OandM manuals and asset registers are completedThe successful Construction Manager should possess the following:Must hold a CSCS Manager or Professional cardSMSTS or SSSTS certifiedFirst Aid trainedKnowledge of CDM regulationsAsbestos Awareness trainingMust have EL1 security clearance in place prior to starting (If one ..... full job details .....
