Construction Manager

This landmark development in the heart of London requires a skilled professional who can lead and manage construction activities to ensure successful project delivery.What you''ll do:Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and prefabrication and performance on siteOversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements for the contract and support Project Managers with matters primarily relating to on and off-site activitiesCoordinate and manage trades on site with regard to both build trades and MEP tradesSolve site problems when they occur, providing feedback to Project Managers on any defects or defaults found and put forward any innovative ideas to alter currentmethodologyUnderstand the design process, and work with the design manager, within cost restraints, to facilitate the design, and coordination of production information, to suit site requirements and conditionsWhat you''ll bring to the role:Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in major commercial building projectsPrevious experience of managing multiple trade contractorsPrevious experience of facilitating collaborative planning and coordination sessions between trade contractorsDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).Equal opportunitiesWe thrive through embracing differences, whether they be social backgrounds, ethnicity, disability, gender identity or expression, age, religion, sexual orientation and any other protected characteristic – we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
