Construction Manager

Construction Manager Location: London / South East (travel to London sites required)Full-time, PermanentCompetitive + Flexible Benefits Freedom''s Major Projects team has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to take ownership of construction delivery for a major 132kV project, including substation and underground cable works. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Plan and oversee safe delivery of construction works in line with Freedom and client standards.Manage project construction programme and report progress.Implement quality management processes on site (ITPs, documentation, inspections).Interpret engineering drawings and resolve queries with project teams.Coordinate with Project Manager, Engineering, and Commercial teams to manage risks and issues.Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and maintain a strong health and safety culture.Motivate and manage Freedom and supply chain teams to deliver high-quality work.Resource planning and coordination for internal and external teams.Prepare and check key safety documentation (CPP, RAMS, permits). What We''re Looking For: Experience delivering EHV/HV construction schemes at 132/66kV (ICP, Private Networks, or DNO preferred).Civils or electrical bias with multi-discipline experience.SMSTS and appropriate CSCS/ECS card.CDM 2015 competency.IOSH and Streetworks NRSWA (desirable).Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
