Construction Manager

Our client, a leading integrated design and build provider in the water sector, is seeking a Construction Manager to join its team within the United Utilities region on a permanent basis. The role will oversee construction delivery across a designated project, ensuring that work is completed safely, sustainably, on time and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage site construction teams to deliver projects within approved budgets and agreed programmesFacilitate construction kick-off meetings, lead health checks and monitor delivery performanceManage Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability compliance across all construction activitiesOversee supplier performance in relation to safety, time and quality, including the approval of appropriate RAMSLead constructability reviews, project rehearsals and Fit for Assembly sign-off to encourage innovation and project efficiencyPromote zero-waste principles and reduce embodied carbon across construction activitiesEnsure contractual and commercial notices are raised by site teams in a timely mannerWork with the Lead Construction Manager to plan labour, plant and material requirementsManage and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve time, cost and quality objectivesJob Requirements:Experience delivering large-scale construction programmesExperience within the water industry would be preferredConstruction-related degree or equivalent qualificationTemporary Works experience or relevant ..... full job details .....
