Lecturer Construction and Built Environment Salary: £36,217 £43,197 per annumHours: 37 hours per weekSpecialism: Construction Management / Civil Engineering Think FE is working with a well-established further education college looking to appoint a Lecturer in Construction and Built Environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction or civil engineering professional who wants to use their industry knowledge to support the next generation. You ll teach across full-time, part-time and short courses while helping learners develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence needed for their future careers. Previous teaching experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. If you have strong industry experience and the ability to engage and motivate learners, the college is willing to support the right candidate towards an appropriate teaching qualification. The role As Lecturer in Construction and Built Environment, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive teaching. Teach learners across Construction Management, Civil Engineering and related built environment programmes. Assess student work and provide constructive feedback. Act as a course tutor, supporting learners with their progress, attendance and development. Contribute to curriculum development in response to changing industry needs.
