The Construction Lead UK and Ireland will be responsible for managing the team of Construction Project Managers. While each department''s scope is specific to its function, the Construction Lead''s duty is to coordinate information flow and integrate it into project phases from design to realization and commissioning.Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lead the Project Managers (2 internal staff + external local consultants) operating in UK and Ireland for brands like David Clulow, Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vision Express, John Lewis Opticians, overseeing over 700 retail stores.Oversee planning, detailed design, and construction engineering for retail stores in the region.Manage construction engineering design on new and remodel projects with local consultants.Select local consultants and permit expeditors from the corporate vendor list.Manage relations with local authorities, malls, airports, outlets, and department stores involved in projects.Prepare reports, specifications, and technical analyses to define design requirements.Provide technical direction for engineering design, building layouts, details, schedules, and materials.Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedule, and resource requirements.Manage budgets, allocate resources, and collaborate with various stakeholders including designers and RandD managers.Lead quality assurance efforts.Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report to stakeholders.Implement process changes as needed to achieve project goals.Evaluate project outcomes.Main Requirements:
Ensure retail store delivery on time, within budget, and with quality standards.Evaluate and control construction budgets and timelines.Maintain high quality of store execution and post-opening snagging.Effectively communicate construction constraints and achievements to stakeholders.Interaction Network:
