Estimator / Senior EstimatorSouth Yorkshire Up to 65,000 + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsHays Construction are working in partnership with an established and growing regional main contractor to recruit an Estimator or Senior Estimator for their South Yorkshire office.With a strong reputation across Yorkshire and the Midlands, our client delivers a diverse range of projects within the education, healthcare, commercial and industrial sectors, typically ranging in value up to 15m. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with an experienced estimating professional.The RoleWorking closely with the Pre-Construction and Commercial teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of new build and refurbishment schemes.Key responsibilities include:Producing detailed cost estimates and tender submissionsReviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentationObtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsIdentifying project risks and value engineering opportunitiesAttending tender review meetings and client presentationsSupporting bid strategy and contributing to successful project winsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with the supply chainAbout YouPrevious experience in an Estimator or Senior Estimator role within constructionBackground working for a main contractorExperience pricing projects within commercial, healthcare, education ..... full job details .....
