Construction Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Estimator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Construction Estimator role Salary: £60,000 Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday 8.30am-4.30pm Responsibilities of theConstruction EstimatorPrepare cost estimates, tender pricing and bid submissionsReview drawings, specifications, and project documentationObtain and analyse quotationsQuantity take-offs and cost analysisHighlight potential risksCommunicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractorsSupport project handoversRequirements for a successful Construction Estimator Previous experience in estimating within commercial/industrial constructionSolid knowledge of construction methods and materialsCompetence in interpreting technical drawings and specificationsStrong numerical ability alongside analytical and communication skillsSkilled in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating softwareCapable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbout Allstaff RecruitmentWe''re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
