Conitinious Improvement Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on problem solver who is passionate about driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and supporting the transition to robotic automation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and a proactive mindset to help identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, optimize processes, and enhance quality.

• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, increase equipment reliability, and improve resource utilization.

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for key equipment and systems.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues to minimize disruptions.

• Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and system adjustments while ensuring safety and compliance.

• Keep detailed documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and upgrades.

• Recommend and support equipment upgrades or modifications for greater efficiency and safety.

• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like NPI and production to support readiness and improvement projects.

• Train operators on proper equipment use, basic maintenance, and safety protocols.

• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.

• Promote a strong culture of safety and proactively identify potential risks.
