This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of complex engineering projects. The successful candidate will apply Configuration Management principles and practices and have the opportunity to progress into more senior roles contributing to the company''s Digital Engineering strategy.
Responsibilities:Apply Configuration Management principles and tools to maintain project integrityAnalyze product design changes and their impactsSupport the establishment and maintenance of configuration baselinesContribute to change control processesCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with configuration management policiesDevelop digital engineering skills and participate in the implementation of digital transformation initiativesBachelor''s degree in an engineering or related disciplineExperience in a Configuration Management role in an engineering environmentKnowledge of Configuration Management principles and standardsFamiliarity with Configuration Management tools and Product Lifecycle Management systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAttention to detail and commitment to qualityExperience in Configuration Management within the defense industryFamiliarity with DEF-STAN 05-57 and Windchill PLMKnowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and methodologiesUnderstanding of data integration concepts and technologiesExposure to Systems Engineering and SysMLAppreciation of complex system design and verification
