Reporting into the Operations Manager (FandB), you will lead and support your team through many unique events, and ensure that every guest experiences service excellence from arrival to farewell.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver consistently professional, warm, and engaging guest service across all eventsOversee the execution of all functions, ensuring an exceptional and seamless guest experienceLead, train, and motivate the event service team, setting clear expectations for excellenceEnsure event spaces are set and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and presentationAttend pre-event meetings with clients and stakeholders to confirm service plans and expectationsLiaise with the Sales Team to ensure smooth communication and handover for all eventsMonitor billing and financial reporting for all functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyRespond quickly and professionally to guest feedback and service recovery situationsBalance hands-on operational leadership with essential administrative dutiesConduct regular team briefings and service standards training sessionsReport maintenance and repair issues promptly to maintain a first-class venue experienceCollaborate closely with the Kitchen team to ensure smooth event executionContinuously seek ways to enhance the guest journey and team performanceWHAT WERE LOOKING FORWe hire based on potential, passion, and personality, but here are some key skills and experience were seeking:Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role within banqueting or FandB operationsA passion for hospitality and guest service, with a strong floor presenceProven experience leading, training, and inspiring diverse teamsExcellent communication, coordination, and time management skillsProfessionalism, resilience, and attention to detail under pressureStrong organisational ability with a calm, solutions-focused mindsetEligible to work in the UKOpera experience is a plus, but not essentialWHAT WE OFFERMarriott Bonvoy discounts on hotel stays for you, family, and friends.Birthday leave
