Job Description:
- Deliverandnbsp;engaging and challenging lessonsandnbsp;acrossandnbsp;KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, with potential for KS5
- Inspire students to exploreandnbsp;computational thinking,andnbsp;problem-solving, andandnbsp;digital creativity
- Teach programming languages such asandnbsp;Python,andnbsp;JavaScript, orandnbsp;Scratch, and introduce students toandnbsp;cybersecurity,andnbsp;AI, andandnbsp;data science
- Use a variety ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform planning
- Foster aandnbsp;positive and inclusive classroom environmentandnbsp;that supports all learners
- Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;coding clubs,andnbsp;STEM competitions, andandnbsp;cross-curricular projects
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;reflective and adaptable practitionerandnbsp;with strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiationandnbsp;skills
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;student wellbeing
- Possess excellentandnbsp;technical knowledge,andnbsp;communication, andandnbsp;organisationalandnbsp;skills
