About the Role:
A progressive secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Computing / IT Teacher to join their team in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS4 in a well-equipped department that values innovation and digital literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computing and IT lessons across Key Stages
- Cover topics such as programming, digital systems, data handling, and cyber safety
- Inspire students to explore technology and develop real-world digital skills
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular clubs
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Experience teaching Computing at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge and awareness of current tech trends
- A passion for teaching and learning in digital education
