The Role:
You will deliver Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (experience with KS5 is advantageous but not essential), covering topics such as programming, software development, and computer systems. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, nurturing students'' technical abilities, and maintaining a well-organised and fully equipped computer lab.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, structured lessons that inspire a passion for technology
Support students in building programming and problem-solving skills
Mark and assess student work, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback
Keep the computer lab organised and well-stocked
Collaborate with the Computer Science department on curriculum development and resources
Participate in wider school activities and general staff responsibilities
What We''re Looking For:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level
Strong understanding of the Computer Science curriculum
