They are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. About the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Support students in developing strong coding, programming, and computational thinking skills
- Assess student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Ensure the ICT suite is well-maintained, organised, and fully resourced for effective teaching and learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum planning, resource development, and enrichment activities
- Actively contribute to the broader school community and participate in staff duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level
- In-depth knowledge of the UK Computer Science curriculum
- A dynamic, hands-on, and engaging teaching approach
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
