IT and Computing Lecturer Further Education A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced IT and Computing Lecturer to join a thriving FE team, delivering high-quality teaching across a range of programmes from Entry Level to Level 3, including BTEC, apprenticeships, and blended/online learning. The Role You ll deliver engaging and industry-aligned teaching in IT and Computing, covering areas such as programming, cyber security, systems, software development and more. You will support learners aged and adults, contribute to curriculum development, act as a tutor, and maintain excellent standards of assessment, quality and learner progress. Key Responsibilities Teach and assess across a range of IT and Computing qualifications including BTEC, Apprenticeships and potentially HNC/D programmes. Deliver high-quality sessions in programming (Python/Java), software development, cyber security, hardware/software systems, networking and web development. Develop schemes of work, produce innovative learning materials, support blended/online learning, and maintain accurate course records. Act as personal tutor for IT learners, providing pastoral and academic support. Work with employers, awarding bodies, internal/external moderators and verifiers to ensure excellent standards of delivery and assessment.
