Computer Aided Design Technician

Overview

I have recently partnered with an engineering consultancy who are looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing team in Henley-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys leading, mentoring, and delivering multiple projects to high standards.Responsibilities

Programming resources and ensuring projects are delivered within timescales.Producing and managing detailed substructure and superstructure drawings in AutoCAD.Overseeing several projects simultaneously and ensuring quality delivery.Supporting a team of engineers and technicians on residential housing projects.Reviewing and commenting on third-party designs/drawings.Liaising with contractors and dealing with technical/construction queries.Reporting progress to Associates/Partners.Qualifications

3+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role.Strong AutoCAD expertise.Knowledge of building structures including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry (advantageous).Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a multi-disciplinary team.Strong communication skills with a positive, proactive attitude.What’s on offer
