Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) Lead Location: Colindale, London Contract: Contract / Interim Rate: 104.16 per hour (Umbrella) Client: London Borough of Barnet Programme: Brent Cross Cricklewood Regeneration Programme About the Role The London Borough of Barnet is seeking an experienced Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) Lead to provide specialist land and property support to the Brent Cross Cricklewood Regeneration Programme. This is a key role providing dedicated specialist resource across the programme, with responsibility for assurance, oversight and coordination of CPO workstreams, alongside wider land and property matters. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in compulsory purchase, land and property, compensation and stakeholder management, together with the ability to coordinate external advisers and provide robust assurance, reporting and governance support within a major regeneration environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) workstreams across the programme. Provide specialist oversight and assurance of CPO activity, ensuring key actions, risks and deliverables are effectively managed. Support the settlement of outstanding compensation claims, including preparation for and management of potential references to the Upper Tribunal.
