We are looking for a process driven Manufacturing Engineer with a background in new products & process improvements. Someone who loves to get into the detail and work on some truly interesting and unique products.

What will you be doing?

This is a busy role where you will be carrying out a variety of responsibilities such as:

• Leading readiness reviews manufacturing, standards ops, facilities. specs/implementation, PFMEA completion etc.
• Working with other departments to bring in new manufacturing processes.
• Lead process improvements to streamline workflow, reduce cost etc.
• Implement continuous improvement of lean manufacturing.
• Working from CAD models to perform prototyping & 1st off production runs.
• Work with tooling suppliers to ensure the correct equipment is supplied & on time for projects.
• Utilise Poka-Yoke solutions to optimise programmes

What will make you stand out from the crowd?

• Prior experience working with composites or plastics manufacturing.
• Experience working press & CNC machinery.
• Previous experience implementing Lean manufacturing concepts & methodologies.
• Strong problem solving skills (Ishikawa, 8D, 5S etc.)
