Working within a modern composite manufacturing facility, you will carry out a variety of laminating and composite manufacturing activities on marine structures and components. This is a hands-on role involving the preparation, lay-up, repair, modification, and finishing of composite and GRP components to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous composite laminating experience within the marine, aerospace, automotive, or similar composite manufacturing sectors and be confident working from engineering drawings and standardised work instructions. Then keep the responsibilities broad: Carry out hand lay-up laminating using GRP and composite materials. Prepare moulds, materials, and tooling prior to lamination. Apply resins, reinforcement materials, and composite fabrics in line with specifications. Undertake composite repairs, modifications, and finishing activities as required. Trim, grind, sand, and finish laminated components to the required standard.... Contract
