Composite LaminatorJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Marine Composite Laminator to join our team, working on the manufacture, repair and finishing of high-quality yacht components. The successful candidate will have practical experience working with composite materials and laminating techniques, with a focus on producing components to a high standard of quality, accuracy and finish.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare composite materials, including fibreglass, carbon fibre, resins and core materials.Carry out hand lay-up and laminating work in line with technical specifications.Use vacuum bagging and resin infusion techniques to manufacture composite components.Work on a variety of yacht structures and components, including hulls, decks, panels and mouldings.Trim, finish and inspect completed components to ensure they meet required quality standards.Monitor curing processes and ensure materials are handled and applied correctly.Identify and repair defects in composite components where required.Follow technical drawings, production instructions and quality procedures.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Work closely with colleagues across the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.Complete relevant production records and quality checks.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in composite laminating, ideally within the marine or yacht manufacturing industry.Practical knowledge of fibreglass, carbon fibre, resin systems and core ..... full job details .....
