      <description>Location: Guildford | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;60000/annum | Type: Permanent | Sapien are looking for a Composite Engineer for an engineering consultancy working across a range of high-performance industries. This role is to support the design, analysis and delivery of advanced composite structures. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit engineering team working on technically challenging projects across multiple sectors.   Responsibilities will include:   	 Composite component and assembly design using CAD software 	 Laminate definition, ply orientation and material selection 	 Structural analysis of composite structures using FEA tools such as Abaqus, Ansys or Nastran 	 Hand calculations and validation activities 	 Supporting manufacturing and design-for-manufacture activities 	 Producing technical reports, drawings and engineering documentation 	 Supporting project delivery to time, cost and quality targets 	 Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients 	 Supporting bids, proposals and technical discussions where required    Experience Required   	 Experience within composite design and composite structural analysis 	 Background within high-performance engineering sectors 	 Experience with CAD and FEA tools 	 Understanding...</description>
