Composite Design Engineer

Client Overview

A growing Design Consultancy who offers a collaborative, progressive, and autonomous environment. There is a defined growth path in place for this specific hire, and an openness to venture into new markets. They currently work with Aerospace, Marine, Green Energy, and more.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop composite component and assembly designs
• DfM including tooling concepts and process selection
• Structural analysis, linear and non-linear analysis of composite structures using FEA
• Produce technical reports and analysis summaries

Skill Required

• Composite Design Experience of 5 years plus in industry
• Experience of FEA, performing structural analysis of composite structures
• Able to support the wider business, in projects and identifying new opportunities
• You will have ownership of projects, so you should be well versed in planning and delivering packages of work, scheduling and budgeting

Compensation & Other Benefits

• -40,000 to -60,000 (based on experience in Composite Design)

You will be required to hold a Full UK Driving Licence as travel will be involved from time to time.
