Compliance Manager / MLRO Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience An established and growing UK financial services business is looking to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager / MLRO to join its team. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing a robust compliance framework, providing practical regulatory guidance across the business and ensuring the firm continues to meet its FCA and wider regulatory obligations. This is a broad role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the compliance function while working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities: Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). Maintain and enhance horizon scanning and regulatory change processes. Manage and develop the firm''s SMandCR arrangements. Oversee and maintain the compliance policy framework. Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory returns. Provide practical compliance advice and guidance across the business. Act as an escalation point for complex compliance matters. Identify, assess and escalate material compliance risks and issues. Maintain and develop the compliance risk and controls register. Produce compliance reports, recommendations and management information for senior leadership. Oversee compliance training, attestations and related processes.
