Compliance Manager - Social Housing Birmingham (Hybrid) Up to £50,000 per annum The Role We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join an established housing provider in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to take responsibility for the effective management of landlord compliance across a residential property portfolio. Working closely with senior management, contractors and internal teams, you will help ensure the organisation maintains high standards of safety, compliance and regulatory performance across its homes. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the delivery of the organisation''s landlord compliance requirements across its housing stock. Plan and oversee programmes of inspections, testing, servicing and any necessary follow-on works. Ensure all statutory obligations are being met and that compliance activity is completed within required timescales. Oversee external contractors, challenging performance where necessary and ensuring agreed service levels are maintained. Review compliance information and certification, ensuring records are complete, accurate and suitable for audit and regulatory scrutiny. Investigate areas of non-compliance and put appropriate action plans in place to resolve issues. Contribute to the organisation''s wider building safety and risk management arrangements. Provide regular updates and management information on compliance performance, risks and emerging issues. ..... full job details .....
