1st Step Solutions are supporting a building services engineering company who have an opportunity for a Compliance Manager based in Grays, Essex.This is a key role within the organisation, requiring a strong combination of electrical technical knowledge, commercial awareness, compliance management and practical project experience.Role overview:The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the companies electrical works are delivered in accordance with applicable legislation, standards, specifications, drawings and client requirements.Alongside electrical compliance responsibilities, the role will provide Electrical Quantity Surveying / commercial support, ensuring that electrical packages are properly scoped, valued, controlled and commercially managed.The role will also undertake Authorised Person (AP) duties where formally appointed, ensuring that electrical systems and associated activities are managed safely and in accordance with the company''s procedures and relevant electrical safety rules.The successful candidate will be a technically strong and commercially aware individual who can operate both strategically and hands-on across live construction projects.Key Responsibilities:Manage electrical compliance and quality across company projects.Ensure electrical works comply with relevant legislation, British Standards, IET requirements, project specifications and client requirements.Carry out site inspections, audits and quality checks.Oversee electrical ..... full job details .....
