We re seeking an experienced and proactive Compliance Manager to join a leading food producer in Greater Manchester. This is a high-impact role where you ll play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and audit performance at a state-of-the-art site supplying major UK retailers and premium food service customers. What you ll be doing: Leading audit readiness across the site for customer and third-party visits (announced and unannounced) Conducting gap analyses and implementing improvements aligned with updated codes of practice Driving compliance through continuous improvement, reducing non-conformances with cross-functional teams Spending at least 70% of your time on the shop floor, embedding compliance into daily operations What you ll bring: Experience in a compliance, technical or quality role within food manufacturing A hands-on, factory-first mindset with excellent communication and leadership skills Strong working knowledge of food safety standards, audits, and retailer requirements A methodical, detail-focused approach and the confidence to influence at all levels Why join? ..... full job details .....
