Compliance Business Partner

PURPOSE OF ROLEOur client, a respected company in the financial services sector, is looking for a Senior Compliance Support Specialist to join their team. This role works directly with the Senior Compliance Manager to ensure the business stays fully compliant with regulatory standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and integrity.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide expert compliance support to the Senior Compliance ManagerGuide employees and leadership on compliance policies and regulatory requirementsHelp develop and maintain compliance procedures that protect the business and enhance customer outcomesMonitor KPIs and keep track of new regulatory developments to keep the company aheadAct as a trusted compliance advisor, encouraging positive behaviours across the organisationDAY-TO-DAYCollaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to FCA regulations, including ICOBS and SMCRRegularly review compliance frameworks and recommend improvementsDeliver compliance training and support to employeesStay informed on regulatory changes and assist with implementing updatesPrepare compliance reports for internal and external stakeholdersSupport incident management and escalate issues as neededEXPERIENCEExperience in a compliance role within insurance or financial services is essentialStrong understanding of FCA regulations, particularly ICOBS and SMCRFamiliarity with insurance brokerage compliance is beneficialRelevant industry qualifications such as CII or ICA are preferredSolid grasp of the London Market, particularly Lloyd’s and the reinsurance spaceSKILLSExcellent attention to detail and risk awarenessStrong analytical ability to interpret data and identify trendsOrganised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectivelySound judgement on when to escalate mattersAdaptable to shifting regulatory landscapes and business needsHigh integrity and commitment to compliance excellenceIf you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on
