Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance Assistant-on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The role will focus on supporting and enhancing the Safety Management System, ensuring alignment with regulatory and ISO standards, and promoting best practice across quality, health & safety, and information security.
The Role
Working as part of the wider compliance team, you will support both day-to-day operations and longer-term initiatives to ensure quality management systems, audit processes, and change controls are effectively implemented and maintained in line with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality & Safety Systems: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electronic quality and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Training & Awareness: Support the development and delivery of training to promote understanding of quality, health & safety, and compliance requirements.
- Change Management & Document Control: Help manage change control processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant.
- Internal Audits: Coordinate and support internal audit activities, ensuring schedules are met and actions are followed through to completion.
- ISO Compliance & Reporting: Prepare documentation and analyse data for management reviews in line with ISO standards, supporting continuous improvement.
- Records Management: Maintain organised and compliant document and archive systems in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Business Continuity: Assist in maintaining business continuity plans and support emergency response procedures when required.
- Risk Assessments: Support the completion and documentation of risk assessments relating to OHSE and information security.
- Inductions & HSE Training: Assist with employee inductions and deliver training aligned with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including drafting internal communications such as memos and safety updates.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support audits, inspections, and training.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working with quality management systems, internal audits, and ISO standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a compliance-led or regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
