Compliance Accountant

Compliance Accountant Savant are pleased to be supporting a key client in their search for a Compliance Accountant to join their Berkshire-based finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and well-structured finance function, working closely with the Finance Director to support global tax and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You''ll take ownership of coordinating and delivering tax and financial filing obligations across the UK and internationally. The role focuses on ensuring deadlines are met, maintaining compliance calendars, and acting as a key link between internal stakeholders and external advisers.Key ResponsibilitiesManage UK VAT processes, including submissions, payments, and HMRC correspondenceCoordinate international tax and statutory filings across multiple regions (US, EU, APAC)Oversee US sales tax processes (via external systems/advisers)Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely, accurate filingsLiaise with external advisers, auditors, and internal teamsPrepare reporting for the FD/CFO and support audit and regulatory requestsIdentify and implement process improvements and efficienciesWhat We''re Looking ForACA/ACCA/CTA - Qualified or part-qualified desirableDegree educated in the UK3-5 years'' experience in tax, finance, or multi-entity complianceStrong understanding of UK VAT and compliance processesHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication skills and attention to ..... full job details .....
