Complex Needs Teaching AssistantMainstream Primary School with Internal SEND Provision Pay: £95 per day Start Date: September 2026 Reed Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the internal SEND provision of a friendly mainstream primary school in Scunthorpe. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children with complex learning needs, enabling them to access learning opportunities, develop key life skills and thrive within a supportive educational setting. The Role Support children with complex learning difficulties on a one-to-one and small group basis. Assist with the delivery of personalised learning programmes. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff. Encourage positive engagement, communication and social interaction. Support pupils'' emotional wellbeing and personal development. Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment. Requirements Experience working with children with complex learning needs is essential. Minimum relevant Level 2 qualification in Education, Childcare, Teaching Assistant practice or equivalent. Understanding of SEND and strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
