Remedy Education are looking to appoint an experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary SEN school in Greenwich. The school supports pupils aged 11-19 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), complex medical needs, and additional sensory impairments.

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with complex needs and PMLD

• Assist with personal care and physical support where required

• Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff

• Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

• Previous experience supporting children or young adults with complex needs, PMLD, or severe learning difficulties

• Comfortable with personal care and manual handling

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practices

• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
